we showed the model its own drawing and asked what it sees. it said, in its defense:

“I see a whimsical, stylized bicycle that’s been given bird- and creature-like features: • Wheels: Two large, thin black circles with equally spaced straight-line spokes. • Frame: A mix of black and dark brown straight lines forming the classic triangle of a bike’s frame. • Seat area: Instead of a normal saddle, there’s a flat, brown oval supported on two long, dark-brown “legs” that descend past the pedals, ending in little brown “feet.” • Pedals and cranks: A small circular crank with two straight lines for pedals, placed between those “legs.” • Head/Handlebars: The front of the frame morphs into a single round white eye (yellow-ringed pupil) on top of the head tube.
